What is the difference between Flexo and Gravure printing?Flexo uses rubber-like plates that "flex" when the cylinder applies pressure. This results in a clear print that tends to slightly overlap other colors. This is a cost effective approach to print most packaging.
Gravure uses engraved metal cylinders that are etched using the latest engraving technologies. These cylinders are not only more durable then flexo, but are more accurate in color separation, which results in clearer, photographic quality, printing.
What is the minimum order for custom print?
Our minimum order in most cases is 2000 LBS. Minimum impressions will vary depending on repeat and web width. This minimum can be stretched out over a year with a signed Inventory Stocking Agreement.
What is the lead-time?Lead-time for your initial order is 6-8 weeks. If an Inventory Stocking Agreement is signed, subsequent lead times will be less than 1 week.
Will I receive a paper proof before I place an order?
Yes. All orders will receive a paper full color proof before any work is done. This proof must be signed and returned to us to initiate the beginning of work.
